The future of the SDSU Library

SDSU is currently in the process of searching for a new Dean of Library and Information Access. This person will have a great amount of say input for the future of the SDSU Library and other information services on campus. It is important that students make their voices heard as SDSU selects the person who will fill this important position.

Three finalists have been identified and each will be coming to campus to give a presentation answering the questions:
In light of the tremendous changes libraries have been undergoing in recent years, what guiding values and principles will allow a library such as ours to succeed?  As dean, what strategies and services would you initiate and what would their implications be for the future of SDSU and its library?

Read the message below from Bonnie Kime Scott, Chair of the Search Committee and consider attending the Dean candidate presentations and giving your input!
